In this petition, petitioner has sought for the following reliefs:-

“Wherefore it is prayed that this Hon’ble court be pleased to quash the FIR, Complaint (Cr.No.164/2024) vide ANNEXURE – A & B & charge sheet vide ANNEXURE-C & entire proceedings in CC No.15332/2024 on the file of 9^th ACMM at Bangalore vide ANNEXURE-D for the alleged offences punishable under section 324, 326, 504, 506 of IPC and to acquit the petitioner, in the ends of justice.”

Learned counsel for the petitioner – accused and learned counsel for respondent No.2 – complainant have filed a Joint memo duly signed by the petitioner, 2^nd respondent and their respective counsel and the same is taken on record.

Petitioner – accused and his counsel and counsel for respondent No.2 are physically present before the Court and they admit the contents of the Joint memo, which reads as under:-

1. It is submitted that on the complaint of the respondent no.2, 1^st respondent police have registered a case in Crime No.164/2024 against the petitioner herein for the alleged offences punishable under section 324, 504, 506 of IPC, on the complaint given by respondent no.2 and subsequently the police have field the charge sheet against

the petitioner herein for offences punishable under section 324, 326, 504, 506 of IPC 1860 & thereafter it was numbered as C.C.No.15332/2024 on the file of 9^th Addl. CMM Court, Nrupathunga Road, Bangalore.

It is submitted that at the intervention of the elders of both sides have reconciled all the differences between the parties and compromised the aforesaid disputes in order to bring the peace between the parties. Accordingly the 1^st petitioner and the 2^nd respondent have compromised their dispute.

3. Further as per the said compromise the second respondent has agreed to withdraw/quashing the said Criminal Case. Under these circumstances the petitioners prefer this criminal petition for quashing the FIR, Complaint & charge sheet & entire proceedings in C.C.No.15332/2024 on the file of 9^th Addl. CMM Court, Nrupathunga Road, Bangalore.

In view of the settlement arrived at, the complainant /respondent no.2 has no wish to continue the criminal proceedings initiated by him and he has given up all the allegations and charges against the petitioner. The complainant /respondent no.2 has no objection for quashing the criminal proceedings pending against the petitioner.

5. The petitioner and the complainant / respondent no.2 have understood the contents of the joint memo and out of their free will, violation and without any fear, force, threat or coercion, have affixed their signature to this joint memo.

WHEREFORE, it is prayed that this Hon'ble Court be pleased to quash the FIR, Complaint, Charge sheet in Cr.No.164/2024 now numbered as C.C.No.15332/2024 for offences punishable under section 324, 326, 504, 506 of IPC 1860 the file of 9^th Addl. CMM Court, Nrupathunga Road, Bangalore vide Annexure-A, B, C & D, in the ends of justice.”

In view of the aforesaid settlement entered into

between the petitioner and 2^nd respondent, I pass the following:

(i) The petition is disposed of in terms of Joint memo

dated 11.06.2025.

(ii) The proceedings in C.C.No.15332/2024 (arising out of Crime No.164/2024 of 1^st respondent – Police) registered for the offences punishable under Sections 324, 326, 504 and 506 of IPC, pending on the file of 9^th Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Bengaluru, insofar as the petitioner is concerned are hereby
