This petition is filed by petitioner/accused under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to quash the criminal proceedings in C.C.No.2427/2022, (Crime No.202/2022 of Bidadi P.S) pending on the file of Principal Civil Judge and JMFC,

Ramanagar, for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 353, 504, & 506 of I.P.C.

petitioner/accused and respondent No.2/complainant as well as their respective learned counsel is filed.

The terms and conditions of settlement arrived

at between the parties reads as under:

"1. The Respondent No.2 had lodged a complaint against the petitioner before respondent No.1 police which is pending on the file of Principal Civil Judge & JMFC, Ramnagar in C.C.No.2427/2022, for an offence u/s 353, 341, 504, 506 of I.P.C.

2. The petitioner above named humbly submits that he had approached this Hon'ble court seeking to quash the entire proceeding in C.C.No.2427/2022, pending against him, on the file of learned Principal Civil Judge & JMFC, Ramnagar for an offence u/s 353, 341, 504, 506 of I.P.C.

3. The Petitioner and the respondent No.2 humbly submit that they have amicably settled the matter due to interference of friends and well wishers.

4. The Respondent No.2 humbly submits that in view of the compromise between them he is no more interested in continuing the above case against the petitioner. Hence this joint memo.

5. Both the parties humbly submit that they had entered in to compromise by their own will and wish and voluntarily and there is no coercion, undue influence nor force for the said compromise.

6. The Respondent No.2 humbly submits that he has no objection to quash the entire proceeding in C.C.No.2427/2022, against the petitioner which is pending on the file of learned Principal Civil Judge & JMFC, Ramnagar for an offence u/s 353, 341, 504, 506 of I.P.C.

Wherefore, the petitioner and the Respondent No.2 humbly prays that in view of the aforesaid compromise between them this Hon'ble court may be pleased to quash the entire proceedings in C.C.No.2427/2022, pending against petitioner, on the file of learned Principal Civil Judge & JMFC, Ramnagar for an offence u/s 353, 341, 504, 506 of I.P.C. in the interest of justice".
