The present petition is filed seeking transfer of M.C. No. 554/2024 which is pending on the file of III Addl Senior Civil Judge, Bengaluru to the Court of the Principal Judge, Family Court, Chikmangaluru.

It is submitted that, the distance between both the places is about 250 kms and it is difficult for the wife to travel from Chikamagalur to Bangalore for attending court proceedings.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondent/husband submits that they have no objection to transfer this petition from Bangalore to Chikmagaluru. However there shall be a direction to the trial Court to expeditiously dispose of the matter.

Having heard the learned counsels on either side, perused the entire material on record. Considering that as husband has no objection to transfer the same, this Court is

inclined to allow this petition and however the request made by the husband cannot be considered as this is the MC of 2024. In

that view of the matter this Court is passing the following:

ORDER

i. The M.C.No. 554/2024 pending on the file of III Addl Senior Civil Judge, Bengaluru is withdrawn and transferred to the Court of the Principal Judge, Family Court, Chikmangaluru.

ii. The wife shall co-operate with the trial and shall not seek unnecessary adjournments.

iii. Accordingly, the Civil Petition is A llowed .

iv. All pending I.As., in the civil petition shall stand closed.
