Heard the learned counsel for the parties.

This petition is filed by the respondent (wife)

before the Family Court, under Section 24 of CPC, seeking transfer of MC No.167 of 2024 pending consideration before the Family Court, Bagalkot to the competent Family Court at Gadag.

Having taken note of the submission made by the learned counsel for the parties, it is stated that the petitioner herein has filed Crl.Misc.No.243 of 2024 before Family Court, Naragund under Section 144 of Bharatiya Nagarika Suraksha Samhite, seeking maintenance from her husband. In that view of the matter, as the petitioner herein has filed petition in MC No.167 of 2024, seeking dissolution of marriage and she has no source of income of her livelihood and taking into consideration the grounds urged in the petition, I find force in the submission made by the

learned counsel for the petitioner. In the result, the petition is allowed . MC No.167 of 2024 pending consideration before the Family Court, Bagalkot is withdrawn and transferred to the competent Family Court at Gadag, forthwith.
