This contempt proceedings has been initiated against

accused Nos.1 and 2 for disobedience and not implementing the order dated 14-10-2019 passed in Writ Petition Nos.1707617077 of 2017 (BDA).

Sri Somashekara K.M., learned counsel for the complainant, is physically present.

Ms. Latha, learned counsel representing Sri Murugesh V. Charati, learned counsel for accused Nos.1 and 2, submits that against the order in Writ Petition No.17076-17077 of 2017, the Bangalore Development Authority had preferred Writ Appeal No.84 of 2022. This Court by order dated 14-10-2022 disposed of Writ Appeal No.84 of 2022 and against the said

order, the Bangalore Development Authority has preferred a Special Leave Petition (Civil) No.14152 of 2023 before the Hon'ble Supreme Court and the same is pending consideration.

Since the proceedings in Special Leave Petition (Civil) No.14152 of 2023 is pending before the Hon'ble Supreme Court, this contempt proceedings does not survive for consideration. Accordingly, the contempt proceedings are hereby dropped .

At this stage, the learned counsel for the complainant seeks liberty to approach the Court, if need arises.
