The present contempt petition is filed alleging noncompliance of the order dated 04.04.2024 passed by learned Single Judge in Writ Petition No.8046 of 2024.

The petitioner made a representation dated 26.12.2023 to respondent No.2 to take action against the operators for plying their vehicles in violation of law. Since no action was taken on the said representation, the writ petition came to be filed.

While disposing of the writ petition, learned Single Judge directed respondent No.2-the Commissioner of Transport and Road Safety to consider the representation of the petitioner within the stipulated time.

In response to the contempt petition, learned Government Advocate has filed the compliance affidavit inter alia producing therewith the copy of the endorsement/order dated 13.08.2024 deciding the representation. It appears from the contents of the said endorsement/order that the Competent Transport Authority
