This contempt petition has been initiated by the complainant alleging non-compliance of order dated 18.11.2022 passed by a learned Single Judge of this Court in W.P.No.22644/2022.

respondent / Authority is also present and submits that the respondent / Authority has already complied with the direction issued by the learned Single Judge in its order dated 18.11.2022. In this regard, the Joint Director of Food and Civil Supplies, Tumkur District has filed a compliance affidavit dated 23.05.2023 enclosing an Official Memorandum dated 12.05.2023 vide Annexure-“R1”.

In view of the fact that the grievance of the complainant having been already addressed by the concerned authority, this contempt petition does not survive for consideration. Accordingly, the contempt petition is hereby dropped.
