This contempt petition is filed alleging willful disobedience of the order of the learned Single Judge dated 03.12.2024 passed in W.P.No.201805/2024 (LBRES). The operative portion of the order reads as under:-

“In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances and rival submissions, the concerned respondents are hereby directed to address the grievances of the petitioner and consider his representation dated 22.08.2023 at Annexure-G and pass appropriate order in accordance with law, within a period of 06 (six) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.”

The respondent – Chief Officer, TMC, Aland, filed an affidavit dated 03.04.2025 along with the endorsement dated 26.03.2025. The perusal of the affidavit and endorsement indicates that the representation of the petitioner as directed by the learned Single Judge, has been considered and decision is taken.
