The captioned Writ Petition is filed seeking a Writ of Certiorari to quash the order dated 07.03.2024 passed by the first respondent in No.KN/PF/RO(KOR)/P.D/1512738/2023-24 vide Annexure-E.

Counsel for the respective parties urged several contentions. Heard the arguments and perused the Writ papers with care.

The order passed under Section 14B of the

Employees Provident Fund and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952 is called into question in this Writ Petition on several grounds as set-out in the Memorandum of Writ Petition. Suffice it to note that as against the 14B order, there is an alternate statutory remedy of filing an appeal under the statute. I decline the exercise power under the Writ jurisdiction. The Writ Petition is liable to be dismissed.

5. Resultantly, the Writ Petition is dismissed .
