The petitioner obtained an order of eviction against the respondent in HRC.No.2/2017 disposed of on 10.09.2019, against which the respondent filed a revision petition under Section 46 of the Karnataka Rent Act, 1999 before the jurisdictional District Judge in HRRP No.1/2019. The petitioner's grievance is that though the petitioner has submitted the written arguments, the learned District Judge, has not taken effective steps to dispose of the petition, which has adversely effected him to occupy the subject premises, which in possession of the respondent herein.

A perusal of the order sheet indicated that the petitioner has addressed his arguments, therefore, the learned District Judge is under obligation to dispose of the revision petition at the earliest.

Accordingly, the petition stands disposed of directing the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Ramanagara to dispose of HRRP No.1/2019 within a period of one month from the next date of hearing.
