This captioned petition is filed assailing the

impugned recruitment notification dated 17.02.2024 vide Annexure-K issued by respondent No.2.

The facts leading to the case are as under:

Petitioner is working as a Supervisor in a library under

the limits of Gonisomanahalli village Grama Panchayath, Belur Taluk. Petitioner was appointed on temporary basis and he is

working as a Supervisor of the said library. Petitioner submitted a representation addressing to respondent No.2 seeking transfer to Markuli Grama Panchayath. Petitioner's grievance is that respondent No.2 without considering his representation, under the impugned notification has resolved to appoint a Supervisor at Markuli Grama Panchayath library which is at Sl.No.12.

The petitioner deserves consideration of his representation as it is indicated in his representation that posting at Gonisomanahalli is causing hardship as his two children are studying at Hassan. However, his request under the representation to consider his transfer to Markuli Grama Panchayath library, cannot constitute a ground to assail the notification issued by respondent No.2 inviting applications from the interested candidates to apply to the post of Supervisor at Markuli Grama Panchayath. Petitioner has no locus standi to question the notification. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to entertain the prayer sought in the petition. However, this order will not come in the way of the petitioner submitting a fresh representation to give a posting at suitable place in the nearby Grama Panchayath
