The learned counsel for the respondent-Union of India submitted that the relief sought in the writ petition no longer survives for consideration, as the tenure of the contract awarded to the petitioners has expired, and the petitioner has already preferred W.P. No.15855/2023 against the cancellation of the contract.

2. The submission is taken on record.

3. Accordingly, the petition is disposed of, with liberty reserved to the petitioners to pursue their claim for the release of wages paid to the laborers under the contract in W.P. No.15855/2023.

4. In view of the disposal of the petition, I.A.1/2024 for dispensation with the production of documents no longer survives for consideration and is accordingly disposed of.
