the month of May, 2017 and she had filed I.A.3 seeking interim maintenance on 18.03.2018. The Court below by the order impugned has granted interim maintenance of Rs.20,000/- each to both the kids per month and Rs.30,000/per month to the wife from the date of filing of I.A.3 and for another period of 6 months from the date of the order till the disposal of M.C. Petition, whichever is earlier and also the husband was directed to bear all the education and medical expenses of the children from the date of the order subject to production of documents, till the disposal of the petition. The Court below while passing the order impugned has observed that as per the statement filed by the husband, when his expenses are about Rs.3,51,000/-, his income would be more than Rs.3,51,000/- and the husband has not produced any income particulars. Granting maintenance is not for animal sustenance, but to live in dignity. So the respondent being an educated lady and the wife of a qualified doctor has to live in dignity equal to the status of her husband and it is the duty of the husband to maintain his wife and children with the same standard of living which he is living.
