The petitioner has called in question the
endorsement dated 23.09.2016 issued by respondent No.2 as per Annexure – K accepting the returns filed on behalf of the petitioner – Karnataka State Jewelry Traders and Workers Associations Federation (R).
who submitted the returns for approval, was not duly elected by the Managing Committee. The returns were filed for the year 2016-17 and thereafter, elections to the Society was conducted and new body was elected to the Managing Committee. Therefore, the relief sought in the writ petition does not survive for consideration.
Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed off.
