The petitioner asserts that he is the owner of land bearing survey Nos.30/1, 30/2 and 30/3, situated at Kanchanahalli Village, and a service lines was installed over the land belonging to the petitioner about 30 years back to supply electricity to the farms adjacent to the petitioner land.

The petitioner further asserts that the villagers have taken separate electricity lines in separate transformers, and at present, the present service lines are not required to supply electricity to the adjacent farms, and also the service lines which are installed 30 years back have rusted, and as a result there is a persistent risk that they may collapse, posing a threat to human lives. Therefore, the petitioner submitted the representations with the respondents to shift the existing service lines.

Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the representations submitted by the petitioner would be considered in accordance with law, if reasonable time is granted.

Therefore, it is expedient to dispose of the petition, directing respondent Nos.3 and 4 to consider the representation dated 26.12.2023 submitted by the petitioner at Annexure-D, and pass an appropriate order in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
