ORDER
This writ petition is filed seeking for following reliefs:
"Issue a writ of mandamus or any other writ or direction directing respondents no.3 to 6 not to conduct cultural event and centenary celebration dated 25.02.2024 and 26.02.2024 as per Annexure-A at MLA's Model Govt. Higher Primary Girls School (Kannada and English Medium) Hosanagara, by implementing Circular dated 30.03.2023 and Appendix 01, Vide Annexure-D and D1 and etc."
despite as per Appendix-1 issued by respondent no.2 to Circular at Annexure-D1 dated 30.03.2023, schools or institutions were not to conduct academic tours or annual social
gathering etc. after 31.12.2023, in violation respondents had sought to conduct School Centenary Programme on 25th and

26th February 2024 as indicated in invitation at Annexure-A. It is submitted that petitioner submitted representation on 16.02.2024 bringing same to notice of Block Education Officer, Deputy Director, Tahsildar and Education Minister. Despite same, no action was taken and therefore sought for allowing writ petition.

has remained without consideration. Hence without going into
merits of petitioner’s claims, petition could be disposed of directing consideration of representation in accordance with law.
Henceforth, as far as possible it would be advisable for respondents to prevent conduct of activities that would shift focus of students from examinations during last few months of academic year before Examinations.
