This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, praying to call for the records and issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ or order/ directions to the respondents to determine and pay the compensation amount in respect of the aforesaid lands acquired from the father of the first petitioner under section 24(2) of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition Rehabilitation Act, 2013 along with interest as applicable from the date of preliminary notification issued under section 4 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 on 25.04.1978 in No.LAQ.HRP.CR.23/78-79 vide Annexure-B in respect of the lands described in the schedule hereunder acquired as the respondents failed to act in accordance with the law in the matter of payment of compensation and has failed to tender/deposit of the amount in the account of the petitioner.
