THIS PETITION, COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING IN ‘B’ GROUP, THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:

ORDER

The petitioner has filed this petition seeking a direction to the respondents to pay compensation for the land acquired by the respondents measuring 11.50 guntas in Vaddarapalya of Kasaba Hobli, Magadi Taluk.

The respondents have filed a Memo dated 04.03.2024 stating that the property of the petitioner has not been acquired and they have also produced an extract of Register indicating the lands that have been acquired, to establish their contention that the lands of the petitioner are not acquired.

In view of this statement, the question of respondents being directed to pay compensation would not arise.

It is needless to state that if the respondents wish to

acquire the petitioner’s land they can do so after they

acquire the same in accordance with law.

The present petition is disposed of in the above

terms.
