The case of the petitioners is that they have been

granted lands in various survey numbers in Emmedhoddi Village, Birur Hobli, Kadur Taluk in the year 1985. However, saguvalli chits have not been issued in respect of the said lands. Hence, they have made representation to the concerned Authorities and as the same has not been considered, the present writ petition is filed with the following prayers:-

Issue Writ in the nature of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ order or direction directing the Respondent Land Grant Committee Kadur to issue Saguvali Chits Katha and other relevant documents as per regularization order dated 28/09/1985 vide Annexure-A, which are in abeyance since long time.

2. And issue any other orders as deems fit under the circumstances of the case in the interest of justice and equity."
