where it directed its officials that in respect of all those employees whose cases were pending for regularization of service, in the event of death of any of them, steps should be taken to provide appointment on compassionate grounds. The petitioner submits that persons similarly placed as her husband, namely, Mr. K. Ramappa, Mr. Kittu, Mr. Nagaraja and Mr. Ravindrappa who were appointed during the year 1983 on daily wages along with her husband were regularized during the year 2012. Therefore, she contends that services of her husband also must be regularized. She contends that she again reiterated her request before the respondent Nos.3 and 4 in the year 2012 for compassionate appointment. However, the respondent No.3 in terms of the letter dated 27.08.2012, informed respondent No.4 that there was no provision under the Rules to provide compassionate appointment as the petitioner’s husband had expired even before he was regularized in service.
