Sri.Narayana Bhat.M., learned counsel for the petitioner and Smt.H.R.Renuka., learned counsel for respondents 1 and 2 have appeared in person.

Counsel Sri.Narayana Bhat.M., submits that the petitioner has been allotted with light work/ stationery work with effect from 08.01.2024 and is posted as a Memo Servant, Depot Traffic Station Section at Sira Depot. Counsel therefore submits that prayer (b) has been met with hence, appropriate order may be passed.

The oral submission made on behalf of petitioner is placed on record.

As for as prayer (b) is concerned, a Mandamus is sought to allot light work to the petitioner. The petitioner contends that he has been allotted light work, hence, prayer (b) does not survives for consideration.

Learned counsel Smt.H.R.Renuka., submits that the punishment order is passed on 30.03.2024. Hence, nothing survives for consideration in the present Writ Petition. Counsel therefore, submits that appropriate order may be passed.

As for as other prayers are concerned, the petitioner has sought to quash the Show Cause Notice, Endorsement and the Charge Sheet as illegal.

The Corporation contends that the punishment order is already passed. Hence, nothing survives for consideration in the present Writ Petition. If at all, the petitioner has any grievance as against the punishment order, he is at liberty to agitate his grievance before the appropriate forum in accordance with law, if so permits.

Resultantly, the Writ Petition is disposed of .

Needless to observe that this Court has not expressed

any opinion on the merits of the case. All contentions of the parties are left open.
