The writ petitioner has submitted an application dated 09.03.2022 for restoration of power supply of installation to the existing installation. The respondents issued the impugned communication stating that the power supply sanctioned to the premises has been demolished, and in that multi storied building is constructed. Therefore, the petitioner is required to surrender the old installation, and submit an application afresh for sanctioning of power supply to the newly constructed multi storied building.

Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the

petitioner has submitted an application afresh, and thereafter power supply has been sanctioned to the newly constructed multi storied building on 13.02.2023, and after execution of the self execution scheme, the power has been serviced to the multi storied building in question. Therefore, the relief sought for in the petition does not survive for consideration.

In view of the above, the relief sought for in the petition

does not survive for consideration. Accordingly, petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
