The petitioner who has been appointed as Junior

Assistant in the respondent University on 27.01.2003 was promoted by respondent No.1 to the post of First Division Assistant effective from 06.01.2023.

The case of the petitioner is that despite such promotion, he has not been paid promotional increments. Therefore, he made a representation on 14.02.2024 seeking redressal of his grievances, which has not been considered by the respondents constraining him to file the present writ petition.

In the circumstances, respondent Nos.1 & 2 are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner as per Annexure-F, dated 14.02.2024 and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

The petition is accordingly disposed off.
