It is alleged that the petitioner had taken the victim girl with him and had sexual intercourse with her with a promise to marry her and he also had recorded the said act of his in his mobile phone, and thereafter, he was threatening to circulate the videos and used to compel the victim girl to have sex with him. The victim girl has stated that after completing her PUC, she was taking training in Computer Science at Madikeri and she was staying in paying guest accommodation at Madikeri. On 14.04.2024, when she was in Madikeri, petitioner allegedly called her on mobile phone and asked her to send her nude photos and when she refused to do so, they allegedly fought with each other and the victim girl stopped talking to him. Petitioner allegedly stated to his friends that victim's character was not good, and therefore, on 29.04.2024 victim girl went to the house of the petitioner to question about the same. Petitioner and other inmates of his house allegedly abused the victim girl and also assaulted her, and therefore, she was taken to the hospital and admitted for treatment.
