This petition is filed by the petitioners/accused Nos.1 to 2

under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. for quashing criminal proceeding against the petitioner in S.C.No.378/2022 arising out of Crime No.170/2016 registered by the Banashankari Police station, for the offences punishable under Sections 201, 506 read with 34 of IPC, pending on the file of LXIV Addl. City Civil and Sessions Judge, Bengaluru.

During the pendency of the petition, both petitioners and respondent No.2 appeared before the Court along with their counsels and filed joint compromise application on I.A.No.1/2024 under Section 320 read with Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking permission of the court to compound the offence.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits the main case has been ended in acquittal, wherein the petitioners said to be threatened the witness.
