The petitioners are before this Court calling in question the proceedings in C.C.No.19059/2022 pending before the Hon'ble 37^th Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate,

Bengaluru.

During the pendency of this petition, the parties to the lis have settled the dispute amongst themselves and have filed such joint memo. The same read as follows:

" JOINT MEMO

The undersigned counsels for the Petitioners and respondent No.2 most respectfully submits that, the petitioners and the respondent No.2 (de-facto complainant) have entered into a settlement agreement before the Bangalore Mediation Centre wherein the parties therein have agreed to give consent to close their entire court cases including the above case. Hence, the above case may be allowed by recording the settlement, in the ends of justice."

3. An application for compounding in the light of the

settlement is also placed before this Court. The same is taken on record.

In the light of the settlement arrived at between the

parties and the offences not being against the State, I deem it appropriate to accept the application seeking compounding of the offence and terminate the proceedings, qua the petitioners.

For the aforesaid reasons, the criminal petition is disposed. The proceedings in C.C.No.19059/2022 pending before the Hon'ble 37^th Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Bengaluru, qua the petitioners, stand quashed.
