The petitioners are before this Court calling in question the crime registered in Crime No.6/2024, pending on the file of the Hon'ble Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM), Bengaluru Rural District, Bengaluru.

During the pendency of this petition, the parties to the lis have settled the dispute amongst themselves and have filed joint memo of compromise. The same reads as follows:

"1. It is respectfully submitted that the above petition is filed by the petitioners to quash the Proceedings in Crime No.006/2024, registered before the Hon'ble Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) at Bengaluru Rural District, Bengaluru for offences punishable under Sections, 506, 34, 504, 324 of IPC, based on the complaint filed by the complainant, FIR was registered on 03.01.2024.

2. The Petitioner herein has lodged the abovementioned complaint out of emotional outburst also having misunderstandings between the Petitioners and Respondent No.2. It is submitted that subsequently the Petitioners and Respondent No.2 had compromised or compounded the offences punishable under Sections 506, 34, 504, 324 of IPC, and hence the Petitioners prays before this Honorable court to quash the lower court proceedings pending against the petitioners.

3. It is therefore prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to Compound the offences in the file of Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) at Bengaluru Rural

District, for the offences punishable under Sections 506, 504, 324 of IPC, based on the complaint filed by the complainant and pass such order (s) as this Hon'ble may deem fit and proper in the said circumstances of the case.”

parties and the offences not being against the State, I deem it appropriate to accept the same and terminate the proceedings, qua the petitioners

For the aforesaid reasons, the criminal petition is

disposed. The FIR against these petitioners in Crime No.6/2024, pending on the file of the Hon'ble Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM), Bengaluru Rural District, Bengaluru, stand quashed.
