“The undersigned counsel (Sri.Mahesh Y L) for the Appellant, was appointed as Amicus Curiae in Criminal Appeal No.1662/2018 by this Hon’ble Court vide order dated 19/07/2023. It is submitted that the Accused –Appellant has communicated to the undersigned counsel from the central jail via email communication dated 27/11/2024 (from email id- [email protected]) seeking withdrawal of the case pending before this Hon’ble Court in Criminal Appeal No.1662/2018. The undersigned counsel hereby produced the email communication dated 27/11/2024 along with a letter issued by Chief Superintendent, Central Prison, Shivamogga on behalf of the Appellant seeking withdrawal of the Criminal Appeal No.1662/2018 and the same may kindly be taken on record.
