her three children. Her husband has illicit relationship with another lady and a divorce case between herself and her husband is pending before the Family Court. For the purpose of collecting material with regard to illicit relationship of her husband, her lawyer had instructed Rajadhani Detective Agency to collect material and for the said purpose, the said agency had appointed petitioner. Petitioner, who allegedly gained confidence of the victim lady had made her consume some powder which had resulted in she losing consciousness and thereafter, he allegedly had sexual intercourse with her. Subsequently, he allegedly was threatening the victim lady stating that he has her obscene photos and videos of the sexual act and was blackmailing her. He allegedly also had criminally intimidated the victim lady and her children. It is in this background, she had approached the police on 25.05.2024. Though learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the victim lady had earlier filed a criminal case against the petitioner and in the said case, petitioner was enlarged on bail, no material to the said effect is produced by him.
