Heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties.

In this writ petition, the grievance of the petitioners

is with regard to the consideration of their representations dated 12.07.2007 seeking regularisation of their services (Annexures ‘A’ and ‘A1’).

Having heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties, the grievance of the petitioners is with regard to regularisation of their services, however, the representations made by the petitioners have not yet been considered by the respondents and therefore, I am of the view that, at this juncture, directing respondent No.3 to consider the same at the belated stage does not arise due to efflux of time.

In that view of the matter, the petitioners are permitted to make one more representation to respondent No.3 seeking relief of regularisation in respondent No.5/Town Municipality.

In the event, the petitioners file such representation to respondent No.3 within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, respondent No.3 shall consider the same in the light of the letter dated 11.12.2006 (Annexure ‘C’) addressed by respondent No.2 herein to respondent No.3.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed off.
