The petitioner’s husband was issued with the Stage Carriage Permit on 01.04.2002 valid upto 13.07.2009. The petitioner’s husband died on 13.07.2009 and thereafter wife of the deceased permit holder filed an application for renewal as well as transfer of the permit in her favour as specified under Section 81 of the Karnataka Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 and Rule 82 of the Karnataka Motor Rules 1989. Petitioner’s grievance is that said application has not been considered.

petitioner will be considered in accordance with law, if reasonable time is granted.

Therefore, it is expedient to dispose of the writ petition directing the 1^st respondent to consider the representation dated 19.12.2022 sent through RPAD on 30.12.2022 at Annexure-P and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
