ORDER

This petition is filed challenging the order dated 15.02.2023 passed by the respondent at Annexure-N, by which the temporary power supply sanctioned in favour of the petitioner was disconnected stating that the petitioner has not obtained licence under Section 4 of the Karnataka Lifts, Escalators and Passenger Conveyors Act, 2012.

This Court by interim order dated 28.02.2023 directed the respondent to restore temporary power supply to the petitioner's premises, subject to the petitioner paying arrears of electricity charges, if any and also advance charges, if any.

3. Heard learned counsel for the parties.

Therefore, it would be suffice if the petition is disposed of directing the respondent to continue to supply power temporarily to the petitioner's premises, subject to the condition that the petitioner furnishes licence issued by the Chief Inspector of Lifts, Escalators or Passenger

Conveyors, for operating the lift installed in the petitioner's premises.

In the event the petitioner does not furnish the license within three weeks from today, the respondent will be at liberty to disconnect the power supply to the petitioner's premises. Till then, the petitioner to pay regular consumption charges.

6. Accordingly, writ petition is disposed of.
