Smt. Anandita Sreenivasan, learned counsel has

entered appearance for the respondent.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the impugned order at Annexure-E dated 06.01 . 2023 does not quantify the amounts that are payable by the petitioner to his daughter. Learned counsel submits that the learned Judge of the Family Court has directed that the petitioner shall pay 60% of the future educational expenses of the daughter on the production of the fee structure of the school for future academic years or to reimburse the amount if already paid by the respondent herein.

However, on going through the operative portion

of the order, this Court finds that the learned Judge of the

Family Court has clarified in the last paragraph that the petitioner is required to pay a Rs.16,700/- towards the general maintenance of the daughter, which would be approximately 60% of the expenses incurred by the respondent herein, towards the daughter.

In the considered opinion of this Court, the impugned order has clarified that the petitioner-father is required to pay a sum of Rs.16,700/- to the general maintenance of the daughter and is also required to pay 60% of the educational expenses incurred by the respondent herein towards the daughter's education. If the school fee is already paid by the respondent mother, the petitioner herein is required to reimburse the same to an extent of 60%.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a direction may be issued to the learned judge of the Family Court to dispose of the matter as expeditiously as possible.

Having regard to the above, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the II Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Bengaluru, to endeavour to dispose of the matrimonial case in M.C.No.898/2020, as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
