The notice to respondent No.2 was ordered on 02.02.2021. The office note depicts that the respondent No.2 is served and unrepresented. The second respondent has neither engaged the services of an advocate nor conducted the case as party in person.

Learned counsel for the petitioners and

respondent No.1 urged several contentions. Heard, the contentions urged on behalf of the respective parties and perused the Writ paper with utmost care.

After arguing the matter for some time, learned HCGP submits that appropriate direction may be issued to the petitioners to consider the case of the first respondent under the Karnataka Daily Wage Employees Welfare Act, 2012 in terms of the Award passed by the Labour Court.
