Learned Counsel for the petitioner has filed a memo dated 12.10.2023 seeking leave of this Court to withdraw the writ petition as not pressed, while seeking liberty to the petitioner to approach the concerned Court where a criminal case is said to be pending against the petitioner and to file an application before the concerned Court seeking ‘No objection’ for the petitioner to be issued with the Passport and to leave the country.

Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed as withdrawn, with liberty reserved to the petitioner as prayed for.

If such an application is filed by the petitioner before the concerned Court, the concerned Court shall take into consideration several judgments passed by this Court including W.P.No.103665/2023 dated 26.06.2023 and dispose of the application as expeditiously as possible.
