THIS WP IS FILED UNDER ARTICLE 226 OF THE CONSTITUTION OF INDIA, PRAYING TO DIRECT THE R-3 TO CONSIDER THE REPRESENTATIONS MADE BY THE PETITIONERS DATED 04.09.2020/05.09.2020 AT ANNEXURE-K TO K8 RELATING TO THE PETITIONERS VRS AMOUNT WITH ALL THE STATUTORY BENEFITS AND GOVERNMENT GRANTS AS MENTIONED IN THE SAID REPRESENTATIONS IMMEDIATELY WITH INTEREST AT THE RATE OF 18 PERCENT PER ANNUM AND ETC.,

Upon the introduction of the special voluntary retirement scheme, the petitioners who were employees of the respondent No.3 submitted applications for retirement from service voluntarily and as per terms of the scheme, the petitioners were entitled for payment of arrears of salary and other service benefits. The petitioners grievance is that though several representations have been submitted with the respondent No.3 to release the arrears of monetary benefits under the scheme, the respondent No.3 has not taken any steps to release the monetary benefits under the scheme.

Whether the petitioners are entitled for arrears of service benefit, under the scheme is the matter which requires to be considered by the respondent No.3, in the light of the representations submitted by the petitioners.

Therefore, it is expedient to dispose of the petition directing the respondent No.3 to consider the representations dated 04.09.2020 and 05.09.2020 submitted by the petitioners at Annexure-K to K8 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law after notifying petitioners within three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

Accordingly, writ petition stands disposed of.
