This Writ Petition is filed to issue a mandamus to the

respondents to settle the pension and other benefits of the petitioner with effect from 31.03.2017 along with interest at the rate of 12% per annum.

The case of the petitioner is that he is entitled for pensionary benefits on his attaining the age of

superannuation in the year 2017.

¶32

In my view, since the petitioner is making a claim that he is entitled for certain pensionary benefits, it would be appropriate to direct respondent No.4 to consider the request of the petitioner and pass an appropriate order within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is open to the petitioner to submit a representation, if he so desires.
