In this petition, the petitioners have sought for the following reliefs:

“A. Issue writ of mandamus by directing the respondents to permit the petitioner’s to write L.L.B exams pertaining to respective backlog papers of petitioner’s which is scheduled to in the year 2022.

B. Issue writ of mandamus or direction to respondent No.1 consider representations submitted by vide Annexure-F.

C. Issue any other writ or direction or to grant such other relief or reliefs as deemed fit under the facts and circumstances of this case, including the cost.”

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned counsel for the

respondent No.1. Perused the material on record.

Though several contentions have been urged by the petitioners in the present petition, having regard to the undisputed fact that representations at Annexures-E and F submitted by the petitioners to respondent No.1 – Karnataka State Law University has not been considered and no orders has been passed/no decision has been taken on the same so far, without expressing any opinion on merits/demerits on the contentions urged by the petitioners in the present petition, I deem it just and appropriate to dispose of this petition directing the respondent No.1 to address

the grievances of the petitioners and take appropriate decisions/pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Two weeks time is granted to learned counsel to file vakalath on behalf of the respondent No.1.

Subject to the aforesaid directions, writ petition stands disposed of.
