Heard Sri. M.R.Hiremathad, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned HCGP Smt.K.P.Yashodha, for the respondent.

The petition is filed seeking a direction at the hands of this Court to the respondent - Police to file a final report in Crime No.478/2021, which came to be registered on 20.12.2021 for offences punishable under Sections 143, 447, 114, 427 and 129 of IPC.

The learned HCGP on instructions would submit that since the offence involved is Section 427 of IPC, the revenue records are summoned by the Investigating Officer, which is yet to come about and would submit that if reasonable time would be granted, suitable directions would be given to the Investigating Officer to file a final report.

The said submission is placed on record. Since the petition is filed only for the aforesaid purpose and documents are now sought from the revenue department, it is for the State to direct co-ordination between the departments, which would enable the Investigating Officer to file a final report in
