to take notice for both the respondents.

The prayer made in the writ petition is to direct

the respondent-Tahsildar, Hosakote Taluk, Hosakote, to consider the application filed by the petitioner’s father and

subsequent representation given by the petitioner for consideration of the application which was filed in Form No.53, seeking regularisation of unauthorized occupation of 2 acres of land in Sy.No.88 of Nadavathi Village, Kasaba Hobli, Hosakote Taluk.

Learned counsel for the petitioner therefore submits that a direction may be issued to the respondentTahsildar to place the application filed by the petitioner before the Committee for regularisation of unauthorized occupation and the committee may be directed to consider and pass necessary orders.

Having regard to the prayer made in the writ

petition and the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court is of the considered opinion that the committee is required to consider the representation after giving an opportunity of hearing to the applicants and causing an enquiry as contemplated in the circular issued by the State Government and pass necessary orders.

Consequently, the writ petition stands

disposed of with a specific direction to the Tahsildar, Hosakote Taluk to place the application of the petitioner before the Committee for regularisation of unauthorized occupation and the Committee shall consider the application of the petitioner, causing an enquiry following the procedures as contemplated in the Rules, governing regularization of unauthorized occupation and the circulars issued by the State Government, as expeditiously as possible and at any rate, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Learned High Court Government Pleader is

permitted to file his memo of appearance within a period of four weeks from today.
