In this petition, the petitioner has sought for

the following reliefs:

“a. Grant a writ of mandamus directing the respondent No.1 to issue the application form to appear exams conducted by the third respondent and collect the exams fee to enable him to appear in exams as per the request letter dated 13.01.2022, which is marked as Annexure-G;

b. Grant such other order/writ as this Hon’ble Court deems fit under the facts and circumstances, together with the cost of the proceedings, in the interest of justice and equity.”

Heard the learned counsel for the

petitioner, learned counsel for the respondent Nos.1

and 2, learned counsel for the respondent No.3 and perused the material on record.

On 28.01.2022, this Court passed the

¶30

following interim order permitting the petitioner to take up the examinations:

“Issue emergent notice to respondent nos. 1 & 2.

Smt. Farah Fathima, learned Panel Counsel is requested to accept notice for the third respondent -University.

¶33

Third respondent - University shall permit the petitioner to take up imminent examination; however, results shall not be announced without the leave of this Court.

The third respondent - University shall not insist upon production of Certified copy of this order but shall act upon the copies downloaded online.”

The examinations were conducted during JanuaryFebruary, 2022.

However, since this Court directed that

results shall not be announced without the leave of

this Court, the respondent No.3 – University has not announced the results so far.

In view of the aforesaid facts and

circumstances, I deem it just and appropriate to dispose of the writ petition directing the respondent No.3 – University to announce the results of the examination taken up by the petitioner as stated supra.

Subject to the aforesaid directions, petition

stands disposed of.
