Petitioners who are the Councilors of the 5th respondent

Municipal Council have submitted a representation with the respondents No.2 and 3 stating that the President of the 5th respondent Municipal Council has not convened the monthly

meeting of the Municipal Council as required under provision of the Karnataka Municipalities Act, 1964. Petitioners grievance is that, the said representation is not considered by the respondents No.2 and 3 even to this day.

Learned Additional Government Advocate appearing for the respondents No.2 and 3 would submit that the representation submitted by the petitioners would be considered if some reasonable time is granted.

Therefore, it is expedient to dispose of the writ

petition directing respondents No. 2 and 3 to consider the representation dated 11.01.2022 submitted by petitioners vide Annexure-L, L1 & L2' respectively and pass an appropriate order in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
