The subject petition is an offshoot of the companion petition in W.P.No.6598/2020 and calls in question the nomination of the 4^th respondent, after the term of the petitioner came to an end.

The nomination of the 4^th respondent is stated to be coming to an end on 06.05.2023. In the light of the reasons so

rendered in the companion petition, a challenge to the nomination of the 4^th respondent in the present petition would not survive. However, it would be open for the respondents 1 and 3 to consider the nomination of the petitioner in future, in the event it would be in consonance with the Act and strictly in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations, petition stands
