This petition is filed seeking for a direction directing respondents No.1 to 4 to take appropriate action on the representations given by the petitioners dated 1.2.2016 at Annexure- A,A1 and A2.

In the statement of objections filed by the respondent No.4 at paragraph No.6, it is stated that the representations submitted by the petitioners have been acted upon with all seriousness and respondents shall continue to further act undertaking the statutory duties and perusal of the photographs produced along with the statement of objections at Annexure-R1 indicates that the encroachment on the foot paths have been cleared. In view of the same, the relief sought for in this writ petition does not survive for consideration.

The petition stands disposed of in view of the undertaking given by the respondent No.4 stating that it shall continue to further act undertaking the statutory duties for removal of the encroachment on the foot path.
