PETITION IS FILED UNDER 11(5) OF THE ABRITRATION AND CONCILIATION ACT, 1996, PRAYING TO APPOINT A SUITABLE PERSON TO BE THE SOLE ARBITRATOR TO ADJUDICATE THE DISPUTE BETWEEN THE PARTIES AS PER THE JURISDICTIONAL CLAUSE MENTIONED IN THE PUBLIC RELATION SERVICE AGREEMENT DATED 31.01.2020 (31.01.2020) PRODUCED AS ANNEXURE-C.

After being heard for some time, the learned counsel

for the parties submit in unison that the petition could be disposed of appointing a retired District Judge as the sole arbitrator as the arbitration agreement and arbitral dispute are not contested.

In view of this submission, the petition is allowed appointing Sri N.Narayana, retired District Judge, Address Nyaya Sadana 226, 3^rd 'E' Cross, 3^rd Main Road, 3^rd Extension, Kalyan Nagar (H.R.B.R.), Bengaluru – 560 043

as the sole arbitrator to enter common reference of the dispute between the petitioner and the respondent and conduct arbitral proceedings before the Arbitration and Conciliation Centre (Domestic and International), Bangalore subject to the Rules framed therefor.

Further, the Office is directed to communicate this order, by email, to both the Arbitration and Conciliation Centre (Domestic and International), Bangalore and Sri N.Narayana, retired District Judge as required under the Appointment of Arbitrators by the Chief Justice of Karnataka High Court Scheme, 1996.
