THIS WRIT PETITION IS FILED UNDER ARTICLES 226 & 227 OF THE CONSTITUTION OF INDIA PRAYING TO ISSUE WRIT OF MANDAMUS TO DIRECT THE RESPONDENT NOS.1 TO 4 TO INITIATE LEGAL ACTION AGAINST THE RESPINDENT NOS.4 AND 6 UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF INDIAL PEANL CODE/INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY ACT AND ETC.

The petitioner has filed the present petition against

Google India Pvt. Ltd. as well as against other respondents

stating that in Google website, some derogatory remarks

¶30

have been made in respect of Kannada language.

The contention of the petitioner is that later, the respondent-Google has removed the aforesaid statement from website with an assurance that such a mischief will not take place in future.

Learned Counsel, at this stage, prays for withdrawal of the present writ petition with a liberty to the petitioner to take recourse to other remedies available in law.

With the aforesaid liberty, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No order as to costs.
