The petitioner has impugned the order dated 13.08.2019 passed by the Technical Assistant, Office of

Land Records, Bengaluru Rural District whereby, the Assistant Director of Land Records, Devanahalli Taluk, Bengaluru, is directed to correct an error in the hissa documents of Sy.Nos.4/2 and 4/4 of Gollahalli Village, Vijayapura Hobli, Devanahalli Taluk, Bengaluru Rural District.

The learned Additional Government Advocate, relying upon the provisions of Section 56 of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964 and the Notification dated 17.05.2021 issued by the Government of Karnataka in exercise of its power under Section 195 thereof, submits that the petitioner would have alternative remedy of filing a revision petition before the Additional Director of Land Records, Bengaluru.

The petitioner does not urge extraordinary circumstances for interference under Section 226 of the Constitution of India. Therefore, the petition stands

disposed of reserving liberty to the petitioner to avail, subject to all just exceptions in law, alternative remedy under Section 56 of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964.
