THIS WRIT PETITION IS FILED UNDER ARTICLE 227 OF THE CONSTITUTION OF INDIA, PRAYING TO DIRECT THE TRIAL COURT TO DISPOSE OF THE I.A. NO.2 VIDE ANNX-C IN CRL. MISC.NO.350/2020 PENDING ON THE FILE OF V ADDITIONAL FAMILY JUDGE WITHIN ONE MONTH.

The short grievance of the petitioner is as to the long pendency of their application in I.A.2/2021, a copy whereof is at Annexure-C filed in Crl.Misc.No.350/2020 which is now pending on the file of learned V Addl. Family Judge, Bengaluru; they have made a claim for the award of interim maintenance.

Notice to respondents is dispensed with since he

will be heard in the matter when the application is taken up for consideration in the Court below; now no coercive order is being made against him.

The Apex Court in a catena of decisions has

warned that the applications for interim maintenance should be heard & disposed off on war footing, as rightly argued by

the learned counsel for the petitioners; it is a matter of holding body and soul together.
