This writ petition is filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, praying to quash the notification, so far as

it relates to the Associate Professor in Forensic Medicine Department, bearing No.GIMS/GDRC/TF/5/2015-15 dated 20.08.2015 issued by the respondent No.2 at vide Annexure-E and etc.
This writ petition coming on for preliminary hearing in `B’ group this day, the Court passed the following:
ORDER
Learned counsel for respondents submits that during the
pendency of this writ petition, petitioner cleared the qualification for promotion to the post of Associate Professor and thereafter
he has been promoted to the post of Associate Professor. Hence
he submits that the writ petition may be dismissed as the same does not survive for consideration.
The said submission is placed on record.
In view of the said submission made by the learned
counsel for respondents No.1 and 2, this writ petition is dismissed as it does not survive for consideration.
