This Writ Petition is filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India with a prayer to issue writ of mandamus against R-4 – Tahasildar to place the application of the petitioner as per Annexure A before R-5 committee to consider and grant the land and etc.

The learned Additional Government Advocate who accepts

notice for the respondents submits that the petitioner’s

application for grant of 3 acres 14 guntas of land in survey No. 20/1 of Purushanahalli Village, Purushanahalli Post, Madhure Hobli, Doddaballapura taluk, Bengaluru Rural district, is pending consideration before the fifth respondent, a duly constituted Committee to consider such application. The committee would consider such application in a time bound manner strictly in accordance with law.

In the light of this submission, the petition stands disposed of directing the fifth respondent to dispose of the pending application for grant of subject property strictly in accordance with law within an outer limit of six months from the date of receipt of intimation of this order. The petitioner, within four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of a this order, shall file the same with the fifth respondent.
